Ugh

Thankgiving break is over, it was nice setting up Christmas decorations and spending time with my maternal grandmother who came here from overseas to pay a month-long visit. Now it's back to the grind, although I only have one week left of school; this is the final week before finals week and break begins. I am now in my in-between break between a cancelled class and a Motion Design class as I type this. On the background of my computer, I am trying to install a beta version of Windows Millenium Edition on a virtual machine which won't stop performing "illegal operations" when installing some components. Windows Millenium Edition is THAT fucked up, which isn't a surprise since Microsoft tried to blend Windows 98 coding with the more modern features. Windows 98 runs on something called "9x kernel" which became antiquated as soon as years began with the number 2. 98 just runs on different code compared to Windows 2000 and XP which have a more modern structure. One hobby of mine is to tinker around with outdated computer software and shit on my virtual machines, I also have an old HP Media Center PC my dad bought in ye ole 2003 that I grew up using a lot. I know it sounds all over the place but just reporting my day so far.

About 2 minutes after publishing this, my attempt to install Windows Millenium Edition on VM failed. IT CRASHED ON THE SETUP PROCESS BECAUSE IT COULDN'T FIND AN "IMPORTANT" DLL FILE. I never even got to fully install it!!!
